TransfersJaipur is a city that cannot be fully experienced in just a few hours. With its grand forts, royal palaces, lively bazaars, and traditional cuisine, the Pink City deserves at least two days of exploration. This package is designed for travellers who want a complete sightseeing experience at a relaxed pace, with the comfort of a private cab and professional driver.
Over two days, you will visit Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, and Jal Mahal, along with leisure time for shopping and cultural shows. You will also explore Nahargarh and Jaigarh Forts, which offer panoramic views of the city, and enjoy a traditional Rajasthani dinner with folk performances. This balanced itinerary ensures you see Jaipur’s most famous attractions while still having time to enjoy the local lifestyle.
Morning Pick-up & Amber Fort (08:00 AM – 11:00 AM)
Your day begins with a comfortable pick-up from your hotel. The first major stop is Amber Fort, Jaipur’s most iconic attraction. Set on a hillside, this grand fort features courtyards, gates, and palaces decorated with fine artwork. Inside, the Sheesh Mahal glitters with thousands of tiny mirrors, while the Diwan-e-Khas and Diwan-e-Aam highlight the lifestyle of the Rajput rulers. From the ramparts, you will see Maota Lake and the rugged Aravalli Hills stretching beyond.
Jal Mahal Stop (11:15 AM – 11:45 AM)
Driving back from Amber, you will pause at Jal Mahal, the famous “Water Palace” that appears to float on the Man Sagar Lake. It is one of Jaipur’s most photogenic sites. Though entry is restricted, the view from the promenade is serene and perfect for photography.
City Palace & Museum (12:15 PM – 02:00 PM)
Next, you will head to the City Palace, still home to Jaipur’s royal family. The palace complex includes the Mubarak Mahal, Peacock Gate, courtyards, and the royal museum. The museum houses weapons, royal costumes, and decorative arts, offering insight into Jaipur’s royal traditions.
Lunch Break (02:00 PM – 03:00 PM)
A lunch stop at a local restaurant gives you the chance to enjoy authentic Rajasthani dishes like dal baati churma or ker-sangri, or you may choose international cuisine.
Jantar Mantar & Hawa Mahal (03:15 PM – 05:00 PM)
After lunch, you will visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory, where enormous instruments built in the 18th century still calculate time and planetary positions with accuracy. From here, the tour continues to the Hawa Mahal, Jaipur’s most photographed monument. With its pink sandstone façade and 953 windows, it reflects the creativity of Rajput architecture.
Evening Market Walk (05:15 PM – 06:30 PM)
The day ends with a relaxed walk through Jaipur’s colourful bazaars such as Johari Bazaar for jewellery and Tripolia Bazaar for lac bangles. The markets are lively and filled with authentic handicrafts. After exploring, return to your hotel.
Nahargarh Fort (08:30 AM – 10:00 AM)
Day two begins with a drive to Nahargarh Fort, perched on the Aravalli Hills. Known for its strong defensive walls and breathtaking city views, this fort was once a retreat for the royals. The palace inside, with its series of interconnected suites, is beautifully decorated and offers a glimpse of 18th-century design.
Jaigarh Fort (10:30 AM – 12:30 PM)
Continue to Jaigarh Fort, often called the “Fort of Victory.” Built to protect Amber Fort, this fort is famous for housing the world’s largest wheeled cannon, the Jaivana. The long walls and watchtowers provide panoramic views of the hills and valleys. Exploring Jaigarh feels like stepping back into a warrior’s stronghold.
Lunch Break (01:00 PM – 02:00 PM)
Enjoy another leisurely lunch, with recommendations for rooftop cafes offering views of Jaipur’s skyline or traditional eateries serving thalis.
Albert Hall Museum & Gardens (02:15 PM – 04:00 PM)
After lunch, you will visit the Albert Hall Museum, Jaipur’s oldest museum showcasing artefacts, textiles, and miniature paintings. The building itself is a fine example of Indo-Saracenic architecture. Nearby gardens provide a peaceful setting to relax after sightseeing.
Birla Mandir (04:15 PM – 05:00 PM)
A visit to Birla Mandir, a modern marble temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, offers a serene spiritual experience. The white marble structure glows beautifully in the afternoon light.
Chokhi Dhani Experience (05:30 PM – 09:00 PM)
The day concludes with an optional visit to Chokhi Dhani, a cultural village on Jaipur’s outskirts. Here, you can enjoy folk dances, puppet shows, camel rides, and a traditional Rajasthani thali dinner served in rustic style. This experience captures the essence of Rajasthan’s hospitality and culture. After the evening, you will be dropped back at your hotel.
