TransfersThe Golden Triangle Tour with Udaipur is one of the most rewarding journeys through India. While Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur give you a taste of the country’s historical grandeur, Udaipur adds a touch of romance and natural charm. This tour takes you from bustling city streets to royal forts and palaces, ending with the tranquil lakes and gardens of Udaipur. Whether it’s walking through Delhi’s Mughal landmarks, witnessing the Taj Mahal at sunrise, discovering Jaipur’s colourful bazaars, or enjoying a serene boat ride on Lake Pichola, every day offers new memories. With a private car and experienced driver, your travel is smooth and comfortable, ensuring you can focus on the experiences rather than the logistics.
Your journey begins in Delhi with a warm welcome from your driver. The day starts at Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques, built by Shah Jahan in the 17th century. After exploring its vast courtyard, you’ll take a short rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, a bustling market known for spices, street food, and colourful shops.
Next, visit Raj Ghat, the simple yet powerful memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. In the afternoon, see the grandeur of India Gate, Parliament House, and Rashtrapati Bhavan, representing the British colonial era. Later, explore Qutub Minar, a 73-metre-high minaret built in the 12th century, and Humayun’s Tomb, a precursor to the Taj Mahal with stunning Mughal architecture. Overnight stay in Delhi.
After breakfast, depart for Agra via the Yamuna Expressway, a smooth and comfortable drive. On arrival, check in at your hotel before heading to the magnificent Agra Fort, once the main residence of the Mughal emperors. Walk through its palaces, mosques, and courtyards, and enjoy views of the Taj Mahal from its walls.
In the evening, you may choose to visit Mehtab Bagh, a Mughal garden across the Yamuna River, which offers a breathtaking sunset view of the Taj Mahal. This is the perfect moment for photographs and quiet reflection. Overnight stay in Agra.
Wake up early to witness the Taj Mahal at sunrise, a sight that leaves travellers speechless. The white marble monument glows with soft hues of pink and gold as the sun rises, creating a truly magical experience. Spend time exploring the mausoleum, gardens, and reflecting pools before returning to the hotel for breakfast.
Afterwards, begin your drive to Jaipur. Along the way, stop at Fatehpur Sikri, Emperor Akbar’s former capital city. This UNESCO site is filled with well-preserved palaces, courtyards, and mosques, such as the Buland Darwaza and Panch Mahal. Continue your drive through the scenic Rajasthani countryside, arriving in Jaipur by evening. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
After breakfast, set out to explore the “Pink City.” Begin with Amber Fort, located on a hillside overlooking Maota Lake. Inside, the fort is filled with ornate courtyards, colourful frescoes, and the glittering Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace). The fort’s grandeur reflects the lifestyle of the Rajput kings.
Later, visit the City Palace, still home to Jaipur’s royal family. Its courtyards, gates, and museum display centuries of artefacts and costumes. Continue to the Jantar Mantar Observatory, where 18th-century instruments are still used to study the stars. End the day with a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) and Jal Mahal (Water Palace). In the evening, stroll through Jaipur’s lively markets for textiles, jewellery, and handicrafts. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Today, enjoy a scenic drive through the Aravalli Hills as you travel to Udaipur (approx. 6–7 hours). Along the way, you’ll pass rural villages, lakes, and rolling hills that show a quieter side of Rajasthan. On arrival in Udaipur, check into your hotel and relax.
In the evening, experience a boat ride on Lake Pichola, where the reflections of the City Palace and Lake Palace create an enchanting view at sunset. Watching the city lights shimmer on the water is one of Udaipur’s most magical experiences. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
Your last day is dedicated to exploring Udaipur’s highlights. Start with the City Palace, a vast complex overlooking Lake Pichola. Inside, its courtyards, balconies, and museums showcase centuries of royal history. Then, visit Jag Mandir, the 17th-century island palace, and the beautiful Saheliyonki Bari, a garden built for royal women with fountains, lotus pools, and marble pavilions.
If time allows, explore the local bazaars for miniature paintings, handicrafts, and silver jewellery. Later, depending on your onward journey, you will be dropped off at Udaipur Airport or begin the drive back towards Delhi/Jaipur.
