TransfersThe Royal Rajasthan Tour – 10 Days is a journey through India’s most majestic landscapes and regal history. It begins in Delhi with its Mughal and colonial landmarks, before moving into Rajasthan’s royal heartlands — Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, and Udaipur. Each city tells a story of kings and kingdoms, blending history, culture, and architecture in ways that continue to impress travellers from around the world.
From the pink-hued palaces of Jaipur to the blue-washed streets of Jodhpur, the golden dunes of Jaisalmer, and the romantic lakes of Udaipur, this itinerary is designed for those who wish to experience Rajasthan’s true grandeur. It’s not only about monuments; the trip also brings you face-to-face with desert traditions, colourful bazaars, and local hospitality that has stood the test of time.
On arrival in Delhi, you will be greeted and escorted to your hotel. The evening can be spent relaxing or taking a gentle drive around Connaught Place to see Delhi’s lively evening atmosphere. This day helps you settle into India’s pace before the adventure begins.
Spend a full day exploring the capital city. Begin with Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, followed by a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, a market buzzing with activity. Visit Raj Ghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, before continuing to colonial landmarks like India Gate, Parliament House, and Rashtrapati Bhavan.
In the afternoon, explore UNESCO sites such as Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb, where Mughal architecture leaves a lasting impression. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur (approx. 5–6 hours). On arrival, check into your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a walking tour through the Pink City bazaars, where shops are filled with jewellery, textiles, and traditional crafts. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Begin with an excursion to the Amber Fort, perched on a hill overlooking Maota Lake. Explore its courtyards, Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), and Rajput architecture. Return to the city and visit the City Palace, still partly a royal residence, and the Jantar Mantar Observatory, known for its astronomical instruments.
End the day with photo stops at Hawa Mahal and Jal Mahal before returning to your hotel. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
After breakfast, depart for Jodhpur (approx. 6–7 hours). Drive through Rajasthan’s countryside, dotted with villages and farms. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Evening is free for leisure or a short stroll through Jodhpur’s colourful markets. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Spend the day exploring Jodhpur. Visit the mighty Mehrangarh Fort, one of India’s most impressive fortresses with palaces, museums, and sweeping city views. Walk through the Blue City, where houses painted in shades of indigo line the narrow lanes.
Later, visit Jaswant Thada, a white marble cenotaph dedicated to the Marwar rulers, and Umaid Bhawan Palace (now part hotel, part museum). Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
After breakfast, drive to Jaisalmer (approx. 5–6 hours), also known as the “Golden City.” As you approach, the desert landscape changes dramatically. On arrival, check into your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a walk around Gadisar Lake, a historic water reservoir surrounded by temples and ghats. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
Start with a visit to the living Jaisalmer Fort, where people still reside inside its ancient walls. Explore Jain temples, royal palaces, and bustling bazaars. Continue to see beautifully carved Havelis like Patwonki Haveli and Nathmal ki Haveli.
In the afternoon, drive to the Sam Sand Dunes. Enjoy a camel safari at sunset, followed by dinner and cultural performances at a desert camp. Overnight stay in the desert under the starry sky.
After breakfast, drive towards Udaipur (approx. 8–9 hours, or optional flight/train can be arranged). En route, enjoy scenic views of the Aravalli Hills and desert landscapes. Arrive in Udaipur and check into your hotel. In the evening, take a short boat ride on Lake Pichola, where the City Palace and Lake Palace glow beautifully in the evening light. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
Explore Udaipur, often called the “Venice of the East.” Visit the grand City Palace, overlooking Lake Pichola, followed by Saheliyonki Bari, a royal garden built for the queen’s companions. Explore Jagdish Temple and colourful markets for souvenirs.
Later, transfer to Udaipur Airport or drive back to Delhi for onward travel. Tour ends with cherished memories of Royal Rajasthan.
